The *Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS)* leaders are set to meet *Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar* today to submit objections regarding the explanations given by MLAs who received *defection notices. Earlier, the Speaker had instructed that objections, if any, must be submitted within **three days* of receiving the MLAs’ responses.
The BRS legal cell has reviewed the matter and decided to present *additional evidence* in support of its case, arguing that the defecting MLAs should face disqualification. Party sources confirmed that they will press strongly for action to prevent further weakening of the BRS in the Assembly.
Meanwhile, among the MLAs who were issued notices, *Kadiyam Srihari* and *Danam Nagender* are yet to submit their explanations. Today’s developments will play a key role in the Speaker’s decision-making process on whether the rebel legislators’ membership in the Assembly will be upheld or terminated.
