CGC University in Mohali

CGC University in Mohali steps up to help flood victims in Punjab through its Great NavBharat Mission Foundation. Recent devastating floods have displaced thousands of families, destroying homes, livelihoods, and access to healthcare. The university mobilizes resources and volunteers to deliver urgent aid right away.

Hon’ble Founder Chancellor S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal flags off the initiative with great enthusiasm. Teams load buses with ration kits, medical supplies, and essentials, then head to the hardest-hit areas. The first phase targets districts like Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur, Talwandi Hindua, Dharmabad, Khanna Chamyara, Mahal Nangal, Gola Dhola, Rattarh Chhatarh, Mansoor, and Patti Abdaal.

Students and faculty volunteers drive this mission with passion and dedication. They distribute aid directly to families, restoring hope and dignity amid the crisis. Dhaliwal shares, “Our humble efforts show our shared humanity and commitment to Punjab. We unite as one family in tough times to serve our community.”

This relief effort goes beyond handouts—it embodies CGC University’s focus on holistic education and social responsibility. The foundation pledges ongoing support for recovery and rehabilitation. Collective action like this rebuilds lives and boosts Punjab’s resilience. As floods subside, the university stands firm with its people, proving education inspires real-world change.
