Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced several new initiatives aimed at supporting both welfare and development in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the ongoing welfare programs, he highlighted that 48 lakh farmers have already benefitted from the “Annadata Sukhibhava” scheme, receiving essential financial support.
In a bid to further strengthen his government’s support for underprivileged communities, Naidu introduced a major new initiative for weavers. Under the “Nethanna Bharosa” scheme, each weaver’s family will soon receive ₹25,000, providing much-needed financial relief.
Additionally, Naidu revealed plans to launch a scheme for salon owners across the state. Under this initiative, 40,000 salons will receive 200 units of free electricity per month. This measure aims to ease the financial burden on salon businesses by cutting down operational costs.
These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to providing both direct financial aid and long-term infrastructural support to different communities in Andhra Pradesh, ensuring welfare for all sections of society.
