A tragic Chapra Scorpio accident in Bihar’s Saran district killed three villagers late Sunday night. The victims were returning home after attending a wedding. The crash happened near Manupur village under Dighwara police station.
The victims were from Jhauwa Basant village in the Avatarnagar area. They travelled in an auto after the wedding ceremony. During the journey, a speeding Scorpio SUV hit the auto on the road. The Chapra Scorpio accident caused severe damage to the vehicle.
Three people died at the scene. One of the victims was an elderly woman. Another person suffered serious injuries. Locals rushed the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police reached the spot soon after getting information. Officers started an investigation into the accident. Police are now searching for the Scorpio driver involved in the crash. The deaths of three people from the same village have shocked the local community.
