The CM Meets Student Trio ahead of their London study visit, marking a proud moment for Goa’s student community. The CM Meets Student Trio as they prepare to represent India at the QS Youth Impact Summit 2025 in London inspired encouragement, confidence, and responsibility.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant congratulated the winners of the PACT Foundation’s Scholar Programme, urging them to embrace sustainability-focused learning and global exposure. He advised them to study international models, return with innovative ideas, and contribute to Goa’s growth.

The selected scholars—Sumaiya Khan from St Xavier’s College, Andrea Cardoso from Rosary College, and Raisa Mariette Pinto from V. M. Salgaocar College of Law—earned their place after a statewide competition and interviews held in September and October.

PACT Foundation Founder Dr Ashwin Fernandes briefed the CM about the NGO’s education and youth development initiatives, including the Happy School Project and the Yuva Shakti movement. He expressed confidence that the students will serve as responsible ambassadors of Goa.

The chief minister handed each student a certificate of recognition and wished them success on the global stage. PACT representatives Amelia Ferrao and Darryl Fernandes also attended the interaction, showing strong institutional support for the scholars.
