Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy conducted a review meeting on Monday to assess the functioning of welfare hostels across Telangana. During the meeting, he directed officials to establish a comprehensive data-driven accountability system to ensure transparency and efficiency in hostel management.
The CM instructed that facial recognition systems be implemented for both students and staff to monitor attendance and prevent misuse of resources. He emphasized the need to maintain high food quality standards through technology-based supervision and ensure regular supply of nutritious meals, clothing, and textbooks to students.
Revanth Reddy also ordered that all hostels be linked with nearby healthcare centers to ensure prompt medical attention for students. The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to improving living conditions and educational support for students from marginalized and underprivileged communities.
