The Cold Wave in Bihar is getting stronger, and people are feeling the chill throughout the day. The Cold Wave in Bihar has now led to a major change in school timings in Patna. The cold mornings and evenings are causing discomfort, especially for young children.
Patna District Magistrate Dr. S.M. Tyagarajan issued a new order to deal with the falling temperatures. As per the directive, all government and private schools up to Class 8 must start only after 8:30 a.m. Classes will continue until 4:00 p.m. This step aims to protect students from the severe early-morning cold.
The DM explained that the district has been experiencing very low temperatures, which may affect children’s health. To avoid any risk, the new schedule will remain in effect from December 11 to December 18.
The Meteorological Department has forecasted fog in parts of South Bihar, including Patna, but afternoons may see some sunshine. The weather is expected to stay dry for the next week, with no major change in temperature levels during the next few days.
