Congress Plans Rallies in Bihar After Voter Adhikar Yatra

Bihar Elections Congress Rallies with Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge after Voter Adhikar Yatra

The Congress party is stepping up its campaign in Bihar ahead of the Assembly elections. After the success of the Voter Adhikar Yatra, the party is planning rallies to strengthen its presence. Senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge met Bihar leaders in Delhi to finalize the next phase of the strategy. The Voter Adhikar Yatra has given momentum, and the party now wants to expand outreach before announcing candidates.

District and division-level rallies will soon be scheduled. Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru confirmed that past work was reviewed and new campaign designs are in progress. Congress leaders believe large-scale rallies led by Rahul, Kharge, and possibly Priyanka Gandhi will energize the cadre and connect with voters more effectively.

The meeting also addressed seat-sharing talks within the INDIA bloc. Leaders stressed better coordination with RJD and regional allies to secure a stronger position. Discussions also included bringing in smaller parties from Bihar and Jharkhand to broaden the alliance’s appeal.

Bihar Congress chief Akhilesh Singh, former state presidents, MPs, and MLAs joined the meeting. The party is open to adjusting seat allocations compared to the last election. The screening committee will review candidate applications on Wednesday in Delhi to finalize the list of contenders.
