Congress to Digitise Historic Archives Dating Back to 1885
The Indian National Congress has launched an ambitious project to digitise its vast archival records, including party manifestos, session reports, and speeches of key leaders dating back to 1885. This digital initiative will also feature rare volumes and documents preserved in the Dr. Manmohan Singh Library. Aimed at preserving the party’s rich political legacy, the project seeks to make historical materials accessible to researchers, students, and the public. Once completed, the digital archive will serve as a comprehensive resource, offering insights into India’s political evolution through Congress’s role in shaping the nation’s democratic journey.
