The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is set to restart its Janahita Padayatra on September 16, coinciding with the arrival of state in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. The yatra will cover Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts, with local leaders already instructed to make necessary arrangements.
Meenakshi will stay in Telangana for a week, during which she will not only participate in the padayatra but also hold key meetings. Sources say that allocation of nominated posts to grassroots leaders will be finalized during her visit. She is also expected to meet CM Revanth Reddy to discuss organizational strategies.
Meanwhile, the Congress is preparing for a major constituency-level meeting next week in Jubilee Hills, with Revanth Reddy, Meenakshi, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and ministers likely to attend. Separately, the BC Samarabheri scheduled in Kamareddy on September 15 has been postponed due to heavy rain forecasts. The TPCC disciplinary committee will also meet under MP Mallu Ravi’s leadership.
