The CPI seat-sharing demand in Bihar elections has become a major topic in state politics. After the announcement of election dates, discussions within the Grand Alliance have intensified. The Communist Party of India (CPI) has submitted a list of 24 seats to Tejashwi Yadav, demanding a respectable number of constituencies. CPI (ML) is seeking more than 30 seats, while CPM has asked for 11. CPI leader D. Raja, accompanied by party officials Ramnaresh Pandey, Sanjay Kumar, and Ajay Kumar Singh, met Tejashwi Yadav to finalize the alliance strategy.
D. Raja stated that the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and expressed complete confidence that the Grand Alliance would win the Bihar elections. He clarified that there were no disputes regarding the alliance’s chief ministerial candidate or the process of seat sharing. According to him, the Grand Alliance enjoys strong public support and unity among the Left parties.
He further said the CPI deserves a respectable share of seats in recognition of its contribution to the alliance’s grassroots strength. D. Raja concluded that the people of Bihar will support the Grand Alliance to bring positive political change in the upcoming elections.
