IMD Bhubaneswar Director Manorama Mohanty stated that southern Odisha could receive light rainfall in the next two days. Cloud cover may increase across several districts, and minimum temperatures may drop by 2–3°C as northeastern winds strengthen.
Odisha’s Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari assured that the state remains fully prepared. Disaster response teams and district authorities are on alert as officials monitor both developing systems. He added that Tamil Nadu and southern Andhra Pradesh may face a stronger impact, although cyclone paths can shift unexpectedly.
