Dabang Delhi K.C. recorded a 39-33 victory over Gujarat Giants in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 at the SDAT Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium on Friday. Despite the absence of Ashu Malik, young raider Akshit Dhull impressed with a Super 10, steering his team to another win over Gujarat.
Both teams started strongly with early points from Rakesh and Neeraj Narwal. Delhi’s Neeraj Narwal triggered the first All-Out of the game, giving his side a crucial four-point lead. The momentum shifted toward Delhi as Ajinkya Pawar and Surjeet Singh added valuable points. By halftime, Delhi led comfortably at 21-14.
In the second half, Gujarat Giants fought back through Himanshu Jaglan and Mohammadreza Shadloui, who completed their High Fives with strong tackles. Himanshu Singh’s all-round effort helped Gujarat level the score, but Delhi regained control with timely raids from Akshit Dhull and Neeraj Narwal.
In the closing minutes, Dhull’s Super Raid sealed the victory. His composure and attacking display earned Delhi their second win over Gujarat this season, keeping them firmly in contention for the top spot in the PKL table.
