Actor and director Dhanush has cautioned fans about early reviews being published before films are screened. Speaking at the trailer launch of Idli Kadai in Coimbatore, Dhanush urged people to watch the film themselves or consult friends who have seen it. He said reviews published before the first show should not be trusted. “If a film releases at 9 am, viewers will only know its content by 12:30 pm,” he added.
Dhanush emphasized that healthy cinema requires fair assessment. He highlighted the importance of ensuring films succeed for the benefit of producers and businesses dependent on cinema. The film Idli Kadai, produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures, has been rescheduled to release on October 1, instead of the earlier April 10 date.
Arun Vijay plays the antagonist, while Shalini Pandey plays a pivotal role. Dhanush and Nithya Menon appear in lead roles, with Dhanush also directing the film. Cinematography is handled by Kiran Koushik, and music is composed by G V Prakash. Fans are particularly excited about the face-off between Dhanush and Arun Vijay.
