Chapra, Bihar: A shocking crime unfolded late at night when a doctor escapes kidnap by taking a life-saving leap from a moving car. The daring escape stunned residents and exposed a serious crime attempt in the city. The moment proved crucial as the doctor escapes kidnap within seconds of spotting a chance to survive.
The incident took place around 10:20 pm. The doctor was returning home from his private clinic. A group of armed men blocked his car and forced him into their vehicle.
While the kidnappers sped away, the doctor stayed alert. Near a busy stretch of road, he suddenly opened the door and jumped out. His assistant also managed to escape moments later.
The kidnappers panicked and tried to flee. Their car crashed into an electric pole, damaging the vehicle. Some suspects ran away in the dark.
Police launched a massive search operation soon after. The next day, officers traced the gang near a college area in Chapra.
The criminals opened fire when police tried to stop them. Officers responded, injuring two kidnappers in the legs. Both were taken to hospital and later arrested.
