Spiritual guide Chaganti Koteswara Rao highlighted the significance of specific offerings during Ganesh Chaturthi. While coconuts can be offered on regular days , he emphasized that on the main festival day, devotees must include Dosakaya (yellow cucumber) along with Undrallu and Kudumulu as part of the naivedyam (prasad).

According to tradition, Goddess Parvati offered Cucumber to Lord Ganesha to satisfy his hunger. Hence, devotees believe that including dosakaya in the Ganesh Chaturthi puja brings special blessings and pleases the deity. The practice is considered a vital part of the festival rituals, and skipping it on the day is thought to be incomplete worship.

Chaganti Koteswara Rao encouraged devotees to follow this tradition meticulously, ensuring that the offerings are prepared with devotion and sanctity . This gesture, he explained, strengthens faith and connects devotees with the divine presence of Lord Ganesha during the auspicious festival.
