Bihar election violence incident in Nawada village showing police action and victim’s complaint

A shocking case of Bihar election violence has emerged from Kazichak village in Nawada district. A family was attacked inside their home after returning from voting. According to the FIR, the victim Ramotar said that the attackers targeted them because of their choice of candidate. This incident highlights how Bihar election violence continues to threaten ordinary people during polls.

The attack took place on November 11th around 8:30 pm. A group of men, led by Jaikaran, reached the village in a Scorpio car and began abusing Ramotar and his family. When they protested, Jaikaran hit Ramotar on the head with a stick, causing a fracture and heavy bleeding.

Ramotar’s son and wife tried to rescue him, but the attackers beat them too. The police said they acted quickly after a video of the assault went viral on November 12th. They registered a case and arrested the main accused.

Police confirmed that Jaikaran already faced multiple criminal cases and had a history of violence. The victim also said that Jaikaran had earlier threatened to kill him and trap him in a false case. The police assured that strict action will follow and the culprits will not escape punishment.
