Final Charge-Sheet Filed in TTD Ghee Adulteration Case
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by the CBI has filed the final charge-sheet in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) ghee adulteration case. The charge-sheet names Bhole Baba Dairy from Uttarakhand and 24 other people and companies.
The investigation found that adulterated ghee was supplied to TTD. This ghee was meant for making prasadam at the Tirumala temple. Officials said the ghee did not meet quality standards. This caused concern among devotees, as prasadam is considered sacred.
The SIT carefully examined documents and questioned many people before completing the investigation. With the final charge-sheet filed, the case will now move forward in court.
TTD officials said they have improved their system to check the quality of ghee and other materials. They also promised strict action to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
