Security agencies questioned two foreign nationals after a prayer meeting was reported near a gurdwara in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district. The incident occurred in Srikaranpur, a sensitive area close to the India-Pakistan border.

Police acted on a confidential tip-off and conducted a raid near Gurdwara Nanak Darbar, close to the railway station. Officers found several people gathered inside a hall. The group was engaged in a Christian prayer session. Two foreign citizens were also present at the site.

The sudden police action created panic in the area. Local residents gathered outside as questioning began inside the hall. Security agencies joined the operation due to the location’s sensitivity. Police later detained several individuals and took them to the Srikaranpur police station for further inquiry.

Officials are now investigating the ownership of the hall. They are also checking how long such gatherings have taken place there. Authorities want to rule out any illegal religious conversion activities. Police said strict action will follow if violations are confirmed.

Border regions like Srikaranpur remain under constant surveillance. Officials said no previous conversion cases had surfaced in the area. However, agencies are leaving nothing to chance. The investigation continues from multiple angles to ensure security and law enforcement.
