Four Guinness Records Showcase Gadkari’s Speed and Efficiency: Naidu
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that four Guinness World Records achieved in highway construction stand as a testimony to the speed, efficiency, and commitment of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. He attributed the achievement to Mr. Gadkari’s close monitoring and the effective execution by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), particularly along the Bengaluru–Kadapa–Vijayawada corridor.
Mr. Naidu noted that the record-setting pace of work reflected a new benchmark in infrastructure development in the country. He said the rapid completion of highways not only reduced travel time but also boosted economic activity, industrial growth, and regional connectivity in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister highlighted that world-class road infrastructure was critical for attracting investments and improving logistics efficiency.
He further stated that coordination between the Centre and the State played a key role in achieving these milestones. Mr. Naidu expressed confidence that such performance would accelerate overall development and improve the quality of life for people across the region.
