Gita Message Guides India

Gita Message Guides India, Says Rajnath at Kurukshetra became the central theme as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the International Gita Conference at Kurukshetra University. The Gita Message Guides India narrative echoed repeatedly during his speech, where he said the Bhagavad Gita inspires India to protect peace while staying ready for any battle.

Rajnath Singh said the Gita provides clarity, courage and mental strength in the most difficult situations. He added that anyone who wants to understand the spirit of Bharat must first understand the Gita. Citing Operation Sindoor, he said India acted firmly against terrorists because the nation draws its inspiration from the teachings of Lord Krishna.

He said India always promotes peace, yet strength and self-confidence remain essential to preserve it. Referring to the Pahalgam terror attack, he said terrorists mistook India’s restraint for weakness. However, he reminded them that India is the land of the Gita, where compassion and battlefield courage coexist.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh inaugurated the key events of the Gita Mahotsav at Brahma Sarovar. He also opened the Haryana Pavilion, praising its display of the state’s folk art and cultural heritage. Several cabinet ministers, officials and religious leaders attended the ceremonies.
