Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that global tech giant Google will establish its presence in Visakhapatnam next month. Speaking at a collectors’ conference yesterday, he revealed that the move marks a major milestone for Andhra Pradesh’s IT growth.
The CM also disclosed that ArcelorMittal will soon set up a steel plant in the state, further boosting industrial expansion. Highlighting the government’s focus on balanced regional development, Chandrababu said that both Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema regions have witnessed rapid progress since the coalition government came to power.
He added that the stretch between Lepakshi in Anantapur and Orvakallu in Kurnool will transform into a massive industrial hub in the future, attracting global investors. With the entry of major companies like Google and ArcelorMittal, Andhra Pradesh is aiming to strengthen its position as a leading destination for technology and industrial growth in India.
