A major political twist has taken place in Bihar’s Sugauli constituency. After the rejection of the VIP candidate’s nomination, the Grand Alliance has officially extended its support to Tej Pratap Yadav’s candidate in Sugauli, Shyam Kishore Chaudhary. This move has changed the entire equation in the region.
The Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), led by Mukesh Sahni, had earlier faced a setback when its candidate Shashi Bhushan Singh’s nomination was cancelled. Following this, VIP decided to support the Tej Pratap Yadav’s candidate in Sugauli, representing the Janshakti Janata Dal. VIP spokesperson Dev Jyoti said the decision was made after consulting all Grand Alliance partners.
Shyam Kishore Chaudhary now enjoys full backing from the alliance, including RJD, VIP, and other allies. The party leaders have urged their workers to unite for his victory. This alliance aims to promote development, prosperity, and welfare in the Sugauli region. With five candidates in the fray, the contest is expected to be intense, especially against the ruling NDA.
