The Green Bihar Film City dream is getting closer to reality in Banka district. A detailed inspection was carried out at the proposed site in Katoria block, bringing fresh excitement across the region.

Senior officials joined the visit, including Art and Culture Secretary Pranav Kumar and District Magistrate Navdeep Shukla. Well-known film personalities such as Neetu Chandra, Tuntun Sharma, Gaurav Dwivedi, and Rahul Nehra also took part. The Green Bihar Film City plan was closely reviewed on the ground.

The team examined the area’s landscape, greenery, water sources, and road access. Artists appreciated the calm atmosphere, green-covered hills, and natural beauty of Katoria. They said the location suits film shooting and can grow into a major film hub for Bihar.

Officials shared early plans and preparation details during the visit. The Secretary said the project will support local jobs, tourism, and cultural growth. After the site review, the group visited Odhani Dam and assessed development works there.

Artists praised the dam’s scenic beauty and peaceful setting. Officials said it can become a strong attraction for film shoots and tourists. The visit ended with boating at the dam, adding a positive close.

Local artists believe Banka can gain a national identity if its resources are used well. The inspection has strengthened hopes that the Film City project will soon turn into reality.
