The Grenade Attack in Amritsar Temple Case has moved forward as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against three men. Officials named Vishal Gill, Bhagwant Singh, and Diwan Singh for planning and executing the attack at the Thakurdwara Sanatan Temple in Chheharta, Amritsar.
The NIA presented the chargesheet in a Mohali special court. Investigators revealed that Gill rode one of the two bikes used in the attack and hurled the grenade during the early hours of March 15. His associate, Gursidak Singh, died in a police encounter two days later.
According to investigators, the group arranged grenades, motorcycles for reconnaissance, and shelter to hide evidence. Another accused, Sunny, helped them by providing safe houses and destroying key proof. On September 5, the NIA arrested Sharanjeet Kumar from Gaya in Bihar, while the search for Badalpreet Singh continues.
The investigation also uncovered terror funds moving from foreign handlers to local operatives through UPI and MTSS channels. Authorities are now tracing global links of the terror module behind the Grenade Attack in Amritsar Temple Case.
