BRS senior leader T. Harish Rao launched a scathing attack on the Telangana Congress government, likening the state cabinet to the infamous “Dandupalyam gang”. Addressing a press meet, he alleged that the cabinet meetings are now being held not for governance, but to settle disputes, share commissions, and divide contracts among ministers.
Harish Rao accused the government of being driven by corruption, extortion, and internal factions, claiming that ministers are split into groups competing for illegal deals and political influence.
He further criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, alleging that he has introduced a “gun culture” into state politics. “What have they achieved in 23 months to celebrate success?” Harish asked, calling the government’s self-congratulatory tone unjustified given its alleged failures and misgovernance.
