Hyderabad’s Regional Ring Road (RRR) northern section is set to begin construction within the next two months, assured Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. He stated that the tendering process for this crucial infrastructure project has been completed, and work will commence immediately.
Regarding the southern section of the RRR, the minister confirmed that land acquisition is in its final stages. The government is ensuring that farmers are treated fairly and that no injustice occurs during the acquisition process. Special attention is being given to provide complete compensation and safeguard the interests of affected landowners.
Additionally, the RRR is being upgraded from four lanes to six lanes to meet future traffic requirements and accommodate Hyderabad’s growing transportation needs. Once completed, the expanded RRR will improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and significantly boost trade and mobility in the region, benefiting both commuters and businesses.
