Ilaiyaraaja Reaches Settlement with Tamil Film Producers Over Pending Dues
Legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja has reached a compromise with the producers of the Tamil films Good Bad Ugly and Dude following a dispute over pending payments. As part of the settlement, the producers have made a payment of ₹50 lakh to the composer.
A joint memo filed in court confirms that the civil suits filed by Ilaiyaraaja can be decreed in accordance with the compromise agreed upon by both parties. Legal representatives said the agreement reflects a mutually acceptable resolution, avoiding prolonged litigation and ensuring that the composer receives his dues promptly.
