IndiGo flight cancellations continued at Hyderabad airport on December 9, but the situation showed some improvement. A total of 58 IndiGo flight cancellations were reported, including 14 arrivals and 44 departures. This is the first time since December 4 that the daily number fell below 100.
Passengers said the drop in disruptions brought partial relief. Even then, many people faced sudden schedule changes. Long queues formed at help desks as travellers searched for new flights, refunds, or revised travel plans.
Airport authorities said IndiGo is trying to stabilise operations. Crew shortages and recent operational adjustments triggered a chain of delays during the past week. Officials expect full normalisation to take a few more days.
Travellers have been advised to check their flight status often and contact customer support before leaving for the airport. Travel planners also suggested that passengers keep flexible schedules until the airline restores regular services.
The airport management added that it is working closely with IndiGo to reduce inconvenience and support all affected passengers.
