Interfaith Conference Anandpur Sahib Highlights Punjab Unity

Interfaith Conference Anandpur Sahib

The Interfaith Conference Anandpur Sahib will take place on November 23 at Guru Ka Bagh Cantonment as part of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur. The Interfaith Conference Anandpur Sahib aims to promote harmony, unity and shared values among all faiths. Punjab’s government is leading the event to highlight the Gurus’ universal message.

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said the Sarvadharma Sammelan will bring spiritual leaders, saints and noted personalities from India and abroad. They will share the Guru’s teachings on peace and compassion. He added that Punjab’s diverse culture makes the gathering even more meaningful.

Bains explained that Guru Ka Bagh Cantonment, linked with Baba Budha Dal, offers a strong spiritual backdrop for the event. He said the state is conducting many programmes to spread Sikh ideals. He also invited spiritual groups, community organisations and the wider sangat to attend. Such events, he said, inspire youth and strengthen moral values.

The minister also announced a historic milestone. For the first time, the Vidhan Sabha will hold a session outside Chandigarh. The meeting will take place at the Bhai Jaita Memorial. With both events happening together, Anandpur Sahib will become a major centre of spiritual and political activity this week.
