In a shocking Jakkanpur woman murder case, a man entered a house in Patna’s Bengali Colony and stabbed a woman to death. The incident happened on Saturday evening under Jakkanpur police station limits.
The victim, Munni Devi (35), lived with her three children in a rented house. During the Jakkanpur woman murder case, the attacker suddenly entered her home and stabbed her multiple times. Her 16-year-old daughter tried to stop him, but he attacked her as well, leaving her injured.
Neighbours rushed to help after hearing screams and took the woman to a nearby hospital. Doctors later declared her dead. The injured daughter is currently receiving treatment.
Police identified the accused as a local youth who was angry after being stopped from visiting the house. Teams have launched raids to arrest him, and an investigation is ongoing.
