Jammu Resident Arrested for Links with Pak-Based Terrorist Shahzad Bhatti
A resident of Jammu was arrested for having links with Pakistan-based terrorist Shahzad Bhatti, police officials said on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Raman Kumar alias Golu. He was apprehended by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) of the Punjab Police.
According to the police, Raman Kumar was in contact with Shahzad Bhatti through online platforms. Investigators said he was allegedly sharing sensitive information and was involved in activities that could threaten national security. Security agencies had been closely monitoring his movements before making the arrest.
During the operation, police seized mobile phones and other digital devices from the accused. These items are being examined for further evidence. Officials said the investigation is still ongoing and more details may emerge.
The Punjab Police said such arrests are part of their continuous efforts to stop terrorism and protect the country. They also urged citizens to report any suspicious activities to help maintain peace and security.
