Jitan Ram Manjhi Backtracks on NDA Seat Sharing

Jitan Ram Manjhi seat-sharing controversy Bihar NDA politics

Jitan Ram Manjhi, the leader of Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM), has sparked debate in Bihar politics. The Jitan Ram Manjhi seat-sharing controversy began when he changed his statement about the NDA’s seat deal. At first, he said he was happy with HAM’s six seats. He praised the BJP high command for its fair decision.

Soon after, Manjhi changed his tone. He said the NDA had underestimated HAM’s strength by giving only six seats. He warned that the alliance could face consequences. Earlier, he had asked for at least 15 seats. He even hinted that HAM might contest 100 seats alone if ignored.

As per the NDA’s plan, HAM and Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM received six seats each. Chirag Paswan’s LJP got 29. The BJP and JDU will fight 101 seats each.

The Jitan Ram Manjhi seat-sharing controversy has raised political heat in Bihar. His shifting stand shows tension within the NDA ahead of the elections. Manjhi’s remarks have drawn attention across the state, turning a seat dispute into a major issue in Bihar’s political scene.
