Counting for the Jubilee Hills by-election continued peacefully through the day. The Congress maintained its dominance right from the first round. Both Congress and BRS recorded strong numbers initially, creating a competitive start. However, the lead slowly shifted in favour of the Congress candidate Naveen Yadav.

After five rounds, a clear trend emerged. In the first round, Congress held a narrow lead of 47 votes. The second round increased that margin to 2,947 votes. The third round added another 3,100 votes to the lead. By the fourth round, the party extended its total advantage to 9,147 votes.

The momentum remained strong even in the fifth round. By the end of the round, Congress maintained a lead of 12,700 votes. This consistent rise in the margin boosted the confidence of the party’s cadre. The BRS, despite early competition, failed to match the pace in later rounds.

Political analysts noted that this trend suggests a comfortable win for Congress. The lead indicates that Naveen Yadav could secure victory with over 22,000 votes. Further rounds may increase this margin. The final announcement is awaited, but the direction of the contest appears clear.
