The Karnataka CM Change Buzz intensified after senior Congress leaders held a long meeting in Delhi with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D. K. Shivakumar. The meeting included Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and K. C. Venugopal.
After the six-hour discussion, Congress leaders denied reports about a leadership change in Karnataka. KC Venugopal said the meeting focused only on Rajya Sabha elections and party matters. He called the Karnataka CM Change Buzz “mere speculation.”
However, political discussions continue in Delhi. Reports claimed Congress leaders discussed offering Siddaramaiah a national role through the Rajya Sabha.
Meanwhile, sources said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is supporting DK Shivakumar for a bigger role in Karnataka politics ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections.
