Key Vehicle Rules for Voters Traveling by Bike or Car

Bihar Election 2025 voters traveling by bike or car to polling stations

In Bihar Election 2025, voters can travel to their polling stations using personal vehicle like bikes, scooters, or cars. The Election Commission has made clear that there are no restrictions on private vehicles during the first phase of voting. However, to ensure smooth polling, a few important rules must be followed by everyone driving to vote.

Outside each polling station, political parties are allowed to set up voter slip distribution camps within 100 meters. Voters can park their bikes, cars, or scooters nearby without issue. Every polling booth will also have a voter helpdesk managed by Booth Level Officers (BLOs). They will verify voters’ names quickly, making the process easier and faster.

The first phase of voting covers 121 seats across Bihar. Voting timings will vary by region — some areas will vote from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., while others will continue until 6 p.m. Voters are advised to check their local schedules to avoid missing their chance.

So, if you are traveling by bike or car to vote in Bihar Election 2025, follow these simple rules and make your democratic voice count.
