Koneru Humpy, the chess grandmaster, and P.V. Sindhu, the Olympic medalist, launched the SAAP League for young athletes in Vijayawada. The league aims to encourage sports among children and teenagers across the State.

Humpy and Sindhu interacted with the participants and shared tips on discipline, practice, and dedication. They encouraged the youngsters to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals.
State sports officials said the league will also help identify talented players for national and international competitions. The initiative is expected to boost sports culture and provide a strong platform for the next generation of athletes in Andhra Pradesh.
