Krishna Bhushan confronted armed killers during a shocking attack inside the Sultanganj Nagar Parishad office in Bhagalpur district of Bihar. CCTV footage shows the municipal officer bravely facing the attackers even though he had no weapon.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening when three armed criminals entered the office chamber and opened fire. The attackers reportedly targeted the municipal chairman who was present in the room. As panic spread, most people ran for safety. But Krishna Bhushan confronted armed killers and tried to stop them.
The officer even attempted to grab a gun from one of the attackers. During the struggle, the criminals shot him in the head. He was rushed to the hospital but died on the way. The chairman also suffered injuries during the attack.
Krishna Bhushan, a resident of Madhubani, is now being remembered for his courage. Police have started an investigation and launched raids to arrest the attackers.
