Telangana Former IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) raised sharp questions at the Congress leadership , specifically targeting Rahul Gandhi’s understanding of the state government’s actions. Responding to ongoing allegations and political pressure, KTR asserted that the Telangana government would fight any conspiracies against it within the legal framework, expressing full confidence in the judicial system.
Highlighting the Kaleshwaram irrigation project controversy, KTR noted that the state government decided to hand over the case to the CBI , contrary to earlier claims by Rahul Gandhi, who had previously described the CBI as a “ BJP opposition elimination cell. ” KTR questioned, “ Mr. Gandhi, do you even know what your Chief Minister is doing?” pointing to perceived misinformation and misinterpretation by the Congress leadership regarding Telangana’s governance and administrative decisions.
The IT Minister’s remarks underline the growing political tension between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Congress party , as well as the scrutiny over handling high-profile corruption investigations in the state.
