Anakapalle: YSRCP leader and North Andhra Regional Coordinator Kurasala Kannababu has accused the Chandrababu Naidu-led government of acting with political vendetta against party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tours. Speaking to the media, Kannababu alleged that the government is undermining democratic rights by deliberately obstructing Jagan’s visits.
He claimed that police are creating hurdles at every stage — from Visakhapatnam Airport to Makavarapalem, blocking YSRCP leaders’ vehicles and preventing people from attending the events. “Nearly 3,000 police personnel have been deployed just to stop the public from meeting Jagan,” he said.
Kannababu accused the coalition government of violating the Constitution and attempting to silence opposition voices. He further criticized the police for their “over-enthusiastic behavior” and warned that such actions amount to an attack on democracy and citizens’ fundamental rights to political participation.
