Kurukshetra Security Tightened

Kurukshetra Security Tightened for PM Modi’s Visit became the central focus today as the district went on high alert ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival. The administration launched multi-layered security measures for the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Sri Tegh Bahadur Ji and the International Gita Mahotsav-2025. The Kurukshetra Security Tightened for PM Modi’s Visit plan aims to ensure complete VVIP protection throughout the event.

A massive deployment of 14 IPS officers, 54 DSPs and nearly 5,000 police personnel has strengthened the security grid. Teams are active in day and night shifts across the event venues, the Mahotsav complex and the entire route of the Prime Minister. Moreover, police units now monitor all sensitive points to manage crowds and traffic smoothly.

DGP OP Singh personally reviewed the preparations and instructed officers to maintain absolute vigilance. He said police forces would cover every inch of the PM’s movement route. High-resolution CCTVs, surveillance systems and fully equipped control rooms support real-time monitoring.

Additionally, the district has enforced a strict ban on drones and gliders. SP Nitish Agarwal said no organisation or individual would receive permission to operate such devices.

Senior officers, including DGP OP Singh and ADGP Sanjay Kumar, also inspected Jyotisar and Purushottampura Bagh. They reviewed security deployment, traffic flow and logistics to ensure full readiness for the Prime Minister’s visit.
