RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav health checkup Delhi visit late Monday night has once again drawn public attention. The veteran leader left Patna for Delhi for a routine medical examination.
He was accompanied by his elder daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti. Journalists tried to speak to him at Patna airport, but he did not respond to questions.
After getting out of his car, Lalu Prasad Yadav used a wheelchair and went inside the airport to board his flight. He is expected to undergo regular health tests in Delhi, as advised by doctors. This Lalu Prasad Yadav health checkup Delhi trip comes at a sensitive time for the RJD leadership.
Meanwhile, the legal process in the land-for-jobs case has been delayed again. The Rouse Avenue Court has postponed the framing of charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, and other accused.
During Monday’s hearing, the CBI sought more time to submit a detailed verification report. The court has now fixed December 19 as the next hearing date, extending the wait further.
