Lalu Prasad Yadav at Delhi court during Land-for-Jobs case hearing

The Land-for-Jobs case came up in a Delhi court as Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the judge. In the Land-for-Jobs case, he strongly denied all allegations and said the charges against him are false. He told the court that he is ready to face the trial and clear his name.

His wife, Rabri Devi, also attended the hearing. She rejected the accusations and said the family trusts the judicial system. Both leaders assured the court that they would cooperate with the legal process.

Investigating agencies claim that railway jobs were given in exchange for land during Yadav’s tenure as Railway Minister. Officials have filed a chargesheet and placed several documents before the court.

Supporters gathered outside the court premises during the hearing. The case will continue in the coming weeks as the court moves ahead with the proceedings.
