Hyderabad: Land values in Hyderabad have reached record-breaking levels, surpassing even diamond rates. In Raidurg, one acre of land has been sold for an astonishing ₹177 crore — the highest in the country. Back in 2017, the same land was priced at ₹42.59 crore per acre, marking a phenomenal increase of ₹134.41 crore in just eight years.

The surge highlights Hyderabad’s booming real estate market, particularly in prime IT and commercial hubs like Raidurg. With infrastructure growth, tech expansions, and investor interest driving demand, both land and building prices have soared to unprecedented heights.

However, experts warn that such skyrocketing rates make home ownership increasingly unattainable for middle-class families, turning the dream of owning a house in the city into a distant reality. The trend underscores Hyderabad’s rapid urbanization and its growing status as a real estate powerhouse in India.
