Liquor Worth ₹22 Crore Seized in Bihar during Begusarai police raid

Liquor Worth ₹22 Crore Seized in Bihar during a large police operation in Begusarai district. Police uncovered a huge stock of illegal foreign liquor in two separate raids. The action marks a major step against liquor smuggling in the state.

In the first raid, police stopped a truck on NH-31 near Bahadurpur Dhala under Lakho police station. Officers checked the vehicle and found around 1,100 cartons of foreign liquor. The consignment had an estimated value of about ₹12 crore.

Later, police conducted another raid in Sahajanand Nagar under Mufassil police station. Officers recovered about 830 litres of foreign liquor along with cattle calcium and liquid chemicals. The seized materials were worth more than ₹10 crore.

Liquor Worth ₹22 Crore Seized in Bihar has raised concerns about a possible interstate smuggling network. Police arrested a truck driver from Muzaffarpur during the operation.

During questioning, the driver said the liquor was loaded in Punjab and was meant for Muzaffarpur. Police now investigate how the truck reached Begusarai and who was behind the supply.
