LPG crisis in Bihar review meeting led by Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit

The LPG crisis in Bihar has prompted the state government to take urgent action. Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit has asked divisional commissioners and district officials to submit a detailed report within 48 hours after checking the ground situation.

Officials will visit districts to review LPG cylinder stock, pending deliveries, and the functioning of control rooms. They will also monitor daily press briefings and track the arrival of migrant workers in different districts.

The LPG crisis in Bihar has raised concerns about hoarding and black marketing. The chief secretary directed authorities to take strict legal action against anyone involved in illegal storage or sale of cooking gas cylinders. Border districts were asked to stay especially alert.

During a crisis management meeting with senior officials, the government also reviewed the backlog in LPG supply in several districts. Officials were instructed to clear pending deliveries quickly and ensure uninterrupted gas supply to households, government hostels, and community kitchens.
