LPG Gas Crisis in Bihar: Minister Warns Hoarders of Strict Action

LPG Gas Crisis in Bihar queues outside gas agencies

The LPG Gas Crisis in Bihar has created panic among residents as long queues appeared outside gas agencies in several districts. Many people rushed to book LPG cylinders after rumors of a possible shortage began spreading.

The LPG Gas Crisis in Bihar prompted Food and Consumer Protection Minister Leshi Singh to issue a strong warning against hoarding and black marketing. She said the government will take strict action against anyone storing gas cylinders illegally or trying to create an artificial shortage. Authorities may also use the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) against violators.

Officials said global tensions affecting oil and gas supplies have raised concerns about LPG availability. However, the state government has assured citizens that the supply of cooking gas remains stable.

The Patna district administration urged people not to panic book cylinders. Authorities have started inspections and raids at gas agencies to stop hoarding and ensure smooth distribution.

The government said strict monitoring will continue so households do not face any shortage.
