Tirupati (January 8): Six devotees lost their lives in a stampede while rushing for Vaikunta Darshan tickets at the famous temple town.
Prayagraj (January 28): On the auspicious day of Mauni Amavasya during the Kumbh Mela, a massive rush led to a deadly stampede, killing 30 pilgrims.
Bengaluru (June 4): Celebrations turned tragic when 11 people died in a stampede during RCB’s victory rally after winning the IPL trophy.
Karur (September 27): A public meeting of actor-politician Vijay ended in disaster as a stampede claimed 39 lives.
