Minister Kondapalli Srinivas clarified in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council that the government is continuing to provide pensions to all eligible individuals in the state. He assured that no eligible person’s pension has been removed .
The minister addressed concerns about pension verifications, stating that the medical department has been instructed to complete the verification process within two months for those who have received notices. He also mentioned that in cases where pension beneficiaries pass away, their families will receive the pension, ensuring continuity of support.
Srinivas revealed that nearly *11.98 million* people aged between 50 and 59 years are currently receiving pensions in the state , emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting its elderly citizens. His comments came in response to questions about the pension distribution process, aiming to clear any doubts regarding eligibility and disbursement.
