A shocking Mokama double murder has created panic in Bihar’s Patna district. A mother and her son lost their lives after a violent clash over a small piece of land measuring four katha in Mokama. The Mokama double murder happened in the Shahbegpur area on Tuesday when a long-running dispute between two brothers turned deadly.

According to police, the victims went to their field to harvest wheat when the argument started. Soon, members of the rival family attacked them with hoes, bricks, and sticks. Rajiv Kumar, around 30, died soon after the assault, while his mother Moonga Devi, 55, later died during treatment in Patna. Another family member also suffered serious injuries.

Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident and sent the injured to a hospital. Officers later arrested three accused, including Vijay Yadav, his wife Manju Devi, and their son.

Officials said the clash started over ownership of just four katha of land. The police have started an investigation and are searching for other suspects involved in the attack.
